About the Position: This position is located in the Munson Army Health Clinic at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to an assigned panel and to patients across multiple settings within scope of practice and granted privileges.
- →Perform medical screening examinations and secure health and medical history from the patient or family member.
- →Interpret and act upon diagnostic findings; diagnose disease, illness, disorder, or injury and institute and develop treatment plans.
- →Work collaboratively with the physician in patient management, evaluation, and revision of therapeutic plans.
- →Serve as an integral provider in assigned specialty service(s) (e.g., dermatology, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, surgery, orthopedics, pain management, women’s health, etc.) in specialty clinics.
- →Provide lifesaving emergency clinical procedures within the scope of practice, such as suture, incision and drainage, joint injections, and splinting, and provides emergency services or crisis interventions in the absence of the physician.
- →Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, and performance improvement initiatives as assigned.
