About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at the Outpatient Pharmacy, 341st Medical Group Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment incentive may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Set up prescriptions by obtaining correct stock container and calculating quantities.
- →Process prescriptions by data entry and verifies prescription orders.
- →Review individual prescriptions for the full range of pharmaceuticals for dispensing.
- →Prepare packages and labels prescriptions and drug orders as ordered by the pharmacist.
- →Repackage liquids, tablets, capsules, etc., into specified quantities and various size containers.
- →Perform pharmacy check for “setting up” new and refilling prescriptions for a final check by the pharmacist.
