About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Pharmacy Technician performing duties in support of the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and its geographic area of responsibility. This position is located with the Fox Army Health Center SSO Stand-Alone MTF Redstone Arsenal, AL. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Receive prescriptions for the full range of pharmaceuticals to include controlled drugs on the formulary.
- →Determine type of substance, strength, dosage, and quantity to be dispensed in accordance with accepted practice and pharmacy standard operating procedures.
- →Enter prescriptions into outpatient computer system.
- →Coordinate with prescriber or pharmacist to clarify issues or problems with dosing, interactions, or instructions.
- →Fill and label pharmaceutical medication.
- →Dispense pharmaceutical medication to customers.
