About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital located at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Pharmacist will rotate between all outpatient pharmacies located at Fort Campbell. Hours will vary between 0745-1715 and rotating on Saturdays. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Review prescriptions set up by pharmacy technicians from volume or prepackaged stores.
- →Ensure proper labeling of medications prior to release.
- →Counsel patients on course of treatment, likelihood of success, possible adverse consequences, and related matters.
- →Perform periodic inspections of drug storage facilities to ensure correct handling and accountability of controlled substances.
- →Review the prescription, patient medication profile, and patient record to determine appropriateness, safety and completeness of medication.
