About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Screaming Eagle Medical Home Pharmacy, Fort Campbell, Tennessee. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a Lead Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Service of a Medical Treatment Facility.
- →Dispenses outpatient medications, including controlled substances requiring special handling.
- →Educates patients on medication use and reactions to ensure safe treatment.
- →Counsels patients on course of treatment, likelihood of success, possible adverse consequences, and related matters.
- →Reviews the prescription, patient medication profile, and patient record to determine appropriateness, safety and completeness of medication.
- →Collaborates with physicians to determine treatment plans for complex cases.
- →Supervises pharmacy staff including evaluating staff performance.
