About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze selected medication programs for accuracy, incompatibilities, contraindications, and appropriate doses.
- →Counsel patient on the use and proper method of administration of medications, side effects, precautions, and other general information prior to discharge.
- →Coordinate with pharmacy to ensure optimal provision of medication therapy.
- →Perform medication distribution functions by conducting activities such as filling, checking, and dispensing medications.
- →Monitor usage and compliance of medications prescribed to patients.
