Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Partnership and Engagement, in Washington, District of Columbia. This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →As a Partnership and Engagement Specialist, at the GS-13 level you will perform the following duties: Provide support to a variety of agency activities relating to administrative, research and analytical duties and a variety of liaison activities and special assignments.
- →Work independently handling matters or coordinating with the appropriate individual(s).
- →Research, determine, and recommend appropriate actions or interpretation of issues impacting the serviced organizations or community.
- →Prepare and present briefings and detailed responses on special projects and sensitive administrative programmatic issues.
- →Prepare and analyze reports, responses to queries, justifications, and background papers on the technical aspects of areas of expertise and assignment.
- →To meet agency needs, this position will be filled under a time-limited appointment, of more than one year but not-to-exceed (NTE) 4 Years based on management approval which will be determined by their review of workload requirements and available funding.
- →This is not a permanent appointment and does not allow for conversion to a permanent competitive service.
