About the Role
You will serve as a Park Ranger with US Fish and Wildlife Service, Kauai National Wildlife Refuge Complex, located on the island of Kauai in the state of Hawaii. What You'll Do
- →As a Parker Ranger your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Develops and presents interpretive programs.
- →Compiles and submits collection, remittance, and reporting of recreation user entrance fees.
- →Assists with the management of wildlife-dependent recreation opportunities.
- →Assists with coordination and management of reservation program and commercial tour programs.
- →Prepares and conducts on and off-site environmental education programs for a variety of audiences.
- →Monitors visitor facilities for safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.
- →Assists with the implementation of a comprehensive public outreach program through written and oral communication.
Requirements
- ✓Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
