About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position serves as Lead Ranger and senior advisor to the Operations Project Manager on all recreational/resource management issues.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the senior recreation/resource management specialist assigned to the project(s).
- →Develop or review budget proposals for program areas; identifying materials, supplies, and staff necessary to implement plans.
- →Prepare concept plans for needed recreation facility rehabilitation, additions, and new construction.
- →Administer service contracts.
- →Serve as an Ordering Officer and make over-the-counter purchases or telephone orders, within approved limits, using the Government credit card.
- →Direct the safety inspections of all Corps recreation facilities and resolve deficiencies
