About the Role
You will serve as a Park Ranger with Fort Washington Park. The purpose of this position is to interpret resources to convey national significance; connect visitors to personal relevance; facilitate shared learning; support specific learning objectives to meet educator and community needs; inform the public for compliance and safety; support management of natural and cultural resources representative of national heritage; and enhance mutual understanding for individual and social benefit.
What You'll Do
- →Some of the major duties you will perform at the full performance level (GS-9) include but are not limited to the following: Interpretation and Communication- develop and deliver formal programs, informal visitor contact, and digital media Visitor Services- coordinate daily operation of Visitor Center, volunteer programs, etc.
Requirements

- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
