About the Role
You will serve as a Park Ranger (Interpretation) with the National Park Service.
What You'll Do
- →As a Park Ranger (Interpretation), you will perform the following duties: Develops and presents formal and informal audience and learner-centered interpretative experiences (e.g., walks, talks, tours, presentations, events, and demonstrations).
- →Plans, develops, and improves interpretive materials (e.g., signs, waysides, publications, exhibits, and digital content).
- →Coordinates the operation of the visitor facility and/or information desk.
- →Develop daily work schedules.
- →Train, mentor, and coach interpretive program staff.
- →Develops virtual programs.
- →Reviews and responds to visitor comments and feedback.
- →Arranges and conducts workshops, open houses, and meetings.
- →Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Direct Deposit participation required.

- ✓You may be required to travel up to 2 nights per month.
- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period to evaluate your fitness and whether your continuation of employment advances the public interest.
