About the Role
You will serve as a PARALEGAL SPECIALIST in the US NMRTC GUAM of US NMRTC GUAM.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating cases arising under various laws and regulations.
- →You will manage and advise the Legal Officer and chain of command on the overall administration of military justice and processing administrative boards.
- →You will examine and evaluate requests for release of information and medical records under the FOIA, federal regulations regarding litigation and military justice discovery regulations.
- →You will be handling subpoenas process and serve as a notary.
- →You will review line of duty, loss or damage to government property and other investigations.
- →You will review and research requests for legal opinions on health care issues.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
