What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Paralegal Specialist for DLA Disposition Services Office of Chief Counsel and assists in the substantive development, investigation, analysis, and case preparation involving various legal matters.
- →Assist in the evaluation and development of procurement fraud, employment, environmental and contract cases under investigation, litigation, and administrative action.
- →Assist in EEO, employment, labor, ethics, environmental, suspension or debarment, and contract cases, and court and administrative hearings regarding complaints, appeals, protests, investigations and arbitrations.
- →Investigate, gather, compile, classify, interpret and summarize facts and statistical data, which may involve interviewing witnesses, collecting documents and statements, and reviewing and compiling case files.
- →Research pertinent laws; contract, technical, quality and personnel files; and applicable regulations and cases.
- →Prepare narratives, collect exhibits, compile evidentiary files and correct file deficiencies in support of the agency position and assist attorneys at administrative hearings, as necessary.
- →Assist in the implementation and development of legal mission related program responsibilities, e.g., fraud and ethics programs.
- →Research and write legal memoranda on a wide variety of issues, including, but are not limited to procurement fraud, Standards of Conduct, environmental, administrative, personnel, and criminal law.

- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
