You will serve as an ORDNANCE PRODUCTION MANAGER in the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of NAVSUBTORP FAC.
What You'll Do
- →You will manage the planning, maintenance and delivery of MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedoes.
- →You will determine long and short-term goals to meet or exceed product delivery dates that meet or exceed the customer's expectations.
- →You will act as the torpedo production advisor to the Commanding Officer and is responsible for production planning and its effective execution.
- →You will review customer requests and identifies resources required including equipment, material and manpower to achieve delivery.
- →Resolves conflicts between customer requirements and IMA capacity.
- →You will serve as Technical Assistant (TA) for a NAVSEA service contract that provides engineering and technical services across the Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA).
- →You will monitor inventory accuracy, oversee resolution of 4T inventory discrepancies and recommend program policy changes that have considerable impact on the torpedo inventory.
- →You will be responsible for providing comprehensive and intensive management advisory and technical! assistance to subordinate supervisory Production Department personnel.
- →You will provide guidance and make decisions on solutions to technical work problems presented by subordinate supervisors.
- →You will monitor technical classroom and on-the-job training for Production Department personnel with special emphasis placed on new employees and new procedures.
- →You will direct, coordinate, oversee work and advise staff regarding applicable policies, procedures, and directives.
