As an Operations Support Specialist, you will carryout administrative duties of various complexity and scope to support the organizational mission to include but not limited to: Timekeeping, Property, Travel, Emergency Management, Tranisit Subsidy, Training, Data Analytics, Communications, and more.
What You'll Do
- →The responsibilities described are for the full performance level.
- →At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
- →Perform a full range of administrative, technical, and analytical duties.
- →Conduct a wide variety of activities and special assignments to contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
- →Research and analyze relevant data and work flows to develop new methods and options to improve work organization and efficiency.
- →Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to include being a consultative link with headquarters and program offices.
- →Handle coordination for various programs to include, but not limited to, Telework, Transit Subsidy, New Employee Orientation, Property Custodian, Travel Organization, Training, Emergency Management, and Mail.
Requirements
- ✓Conditions of Employment: You must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
- ✓Citizenship and Immigration Services.
- ✓This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
- ✓Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
- ✓Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
- ✓COMBINING QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION (at the GS-09 and GS-11 levels only): If you do not qualify based on experience or education alone, you may be able to qualify based on a combination of your experience and education.
