About the Position: The position is located at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
What You'll Do
- →Provide operational logistical guidance, counsel, and assistance to the directorate offices.
- →Evaluate activities for achievement of operational logistical objectives.
- →Support operational logistics force requirements based on sustainment operations concept plans.
- →Use automated logistics planning systems to develop time phased force and sustainment schedules and information.
- →Represent the Director at conferences and seminars, locally or CONUS, on matters such as planning future operations, funding, and personnel requirements.
- →Supervise employees (civilian and military) of the Directorate of Logistics (DOL).
- →Develop and standardize procedures for budget development and execution.
