About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Youth Center on the Naval Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC. This is a Regular Full-Time position. Regular Full-Time employees have regular/continuous work schedules of at least 35 hours per week. You are eligible for the following benefits/compensation: Health & Life Insurance, Awards, Leave, Retirement, 401K, Overtime Pay, Workers' Comp, Shift Differential, Sunday Premium Pay, Holiday Pay.
What You'll Do
- →Performs primarily substantive clerical work in support of technical administrative management and/or operational requirements within the Airman and Family Services Flight.
- →Prepares a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring correspondence, reports and other documents (e.g. medication log; incident/accident log, etc.).
- →Composes non-technical correspondence, such as instructions on office procedures, requests for information, and letters of acknowledgement or notification.
- →Transmits and receives documents and messages electronically.
- →Monitors the number of children enrolled in weekly programs and tends to request when appropriate.
- →Participates in parent orientation meetings.
- →Consolidates and finalizes information from systems and files for various reports in accordance with established reporting procedures.
- →Prepares and maintains classroom rosters, special needs and allergy lists.
- →Maintains children's files in accordance with established procedures.
- →Contacts parents to request missing information· notified director when difficulties are encountered.
- →Contacts parents to report injuries that occur.
- →Prepares and consolidates time and attendance records in accordance with established procedures.
- →Compiles and submits USDA paperwork and reports.
- →Verifies classroom staff accurately document and report number of meals served daily.
Requirements

- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
