About the Position: Serves as the Chief, Operations and Maintenance Division and as an expert advisor and technical consultant to the DPW, the DPW staff, the USAG Yongsan-Casey Commander and commanders and key personnel of tenant activities. What You'll Do
- →Determines requirements for maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of buildings, structures, utility systems, roads, grounds, and pavements.
- →Prepares long-range plans for major scheduled repairs and improvements to facilities and infrastructure.
- →Directs civil engineering activities, construction, maintenance, land management, and equipment operation activities.
- →Reviews construction contracts, plans, specifications, and drawings for technical adequacy and compliance.
- →Coordinates civil engineering activities, facility construction, maintenance, and equipment operation with contractors and DPW organizations.
- →Manages engineers and specialists, resolving technical matters and ensuring the DPW mission is carried out.
- →Performs personnel management functions, including planning and distributing work, performance management, and resolving grievances.
