About the Role
This position is located within the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit. The incumbent provides comprehensive, high-acuity nursing care to patients across the life span, exercising expert clinical judgement in rapidly changing and complex situations. The position reports to the Supervisory Nurse. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

- →Evaluates clinical data, patient condition and determines appropriate care.
- →Administers medication and other treatment plans based on patient assessment.
- →Performs emergency and resuscitative procedures.
- →Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- →Provides patient and family education.
- →Coordinates emergency patient care with providers and team members for continuity of care.
- →Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care coordination in appropriate records.
