About the Position: This position is located at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell, TN. - A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. - Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Preforms pre-operative assessment of patients, including verification of medical history, allergies, consent, and readiness for surgery.
- →Ensures proper patient identification and implementing safety protocols such as time-out procedures.
- →Prepares operating room, equipment, instruments, and supplies for the scheduled procedure.
- →Serves as a circulating nurse, managing the overall environment of the Operation Room, supporting the surgical team, and maintaining patient safety.
- →Monitors patient’s condition throughout the surgery and responding promptly to any changes or emergencies
