About the Role
About the Position: This position is with the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Provide perioperative nursing care in a multi-service operating room providing a full range of surgical nursing services supporting complex and extensive surgical procedures.
- →Operate and assists in the care and handling of a variety of supplies and highly specialized equipment.
- →Assist physician with examination, as well as treatment prior to, during, and following invasive procedures.
- →Coordinate with physicians and other staff, preoperatively, to develop a multi-disciplinary, intra-operative plan of care.
- →Teach staff, patient, and family regarding pre- and post-operative care and procedures.
