About the Role
About the Position: This position is located in Clinical Support, Occupational Medicine at U.S. Naval Hospital Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Access to Medical and Dental Care in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba is extremely limited. Please see Additional Information section below. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Plan, develop, organize and manage a comprehensive Occupational Health services program at the local Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) level.
- →Develop clinical protocols and technical procedures in support of occupational health programs for compliance with higher-level policies.
- →Assist provider with appropriate pre-employment, pre-placement, periodic and termination physical examinations.
- →Provide consultation, guidance and technical assistance to nurses, industrial hygienists, safety officers, Human Resources personnel, and supervisors on issues involving interpretation of policies and standards for occupational health related issues.
- →Provide nursing assessment, diagnosis and treatment and nursing care of occupational injuries and illnesses.
