About the Position: The Nurse (Mother/Infant Care) provides support to the A. T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir VA, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide nursing care for women and infants during the antepartum/postpartum period.
- →Identify high risk and socially fragile patients/families and provide expert nursing care.
- →Initiates treatment plans of nursing care to meet specific patient/family needs.
- →Assists management and staff with the development, monitoring and evaluation of staff competency and compliance to established standards of care.
