About the Role
About the Position: Incumbent is responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, afterhours, and on-call Interventional Radiology and Vascular nursing services. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Administer moderate sedation during procedures.
- →Triage and screen walk-in and call-in patients to assess the severity of their condition.
- →Screen patient charts to assess patient history when determining health care needs.
- →Verify patient's operative procedures and serves as nursing assistance during procedures and lasers.
- →Conduct preoperative patient assessments and teaching, and postoperative nursing evaluation.
- →Perform specialized nursing care and assists physicians with complex procedures.
- →Maintain invasive losses, including arterial, venous, and pulmonary artery catheters.
- →Maintain responsibility for all Quality and Safety Assurance projects within the services.
- →Formulate and revise the service’s nursing standards of care.
