About the Position: This is a Nurse (Inpatient Clinical/OB-GYN) position located at Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to OB/GYN patients and their newborns with medical conditions ranging from routine care to those having complex complications requiring sophisticated, highly technical care and treatment.
- →Circulate for surgical cases within the Labor and Delivery OR, including C-Sections and gynecological emergencies.
- →Administer oxygen, IV fluids, amnioinfusion, blood products, and prescribed medications.
- →Serve as subject matter expert and consultant for nursing staff and healthcare teammates in other areas of the hospital.
- →Assign duties and delegate patient care to other registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, operating room technicians, and medical assistants.
- →Coordinate case management needs with the case and outcomes management team.
