About the Role
About the Position: Serves as the professional clinical Expert over Infection Prevention and Control Service for Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) and Dental Treatment Facilities (DTF), responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating comprehensive infection prevention and control and epidemiologic programs for MTFs and DTFs located in five geographical locations. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and technical authority for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Director and Command on Infection Prevention and Control.
- →Ensure accurate and timely submission of data to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) and other required reporting entities.
- →Monitor and evaluate the epidemiology program to keep pace with major changes in Federal, State, and local requirements.
- →Provide oversight and nursing principles in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the DTF and MTF annual infection control program plan.
- →Maintain and expand professional expertise through attendance at professional conferences, seminars, and review of professional literature.
- →Evaluate and revise policies and procedures and implements appropriate systems to accommodate these changes.
- →Direct, develop, and conduct infection prevention and control education programs for MTF and DTF personnel.
