About the Role
This position is located in the Division of Nursing Services at the Jicarilla Service Unit (JSU) Dulce, NM. The incumbent functions as a Patient Safety Manager, Infection Preventionist, and Employee Health RN at the Jicarilla Service Unit. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Total Compensation Package - Check out IHS's outstanding total compensation package for this job: Registered Nurse Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) Evaluates, develops and implements the Employee Health and Infection Control program for the Service Unit.
- →Monitors service unit employees for specific required tests upon entry and annually as required by governing agencies.
- →Provides health screening and related services.
- →Identifies factors in the work environment that present a safety hazard to employee's health.
- →Formulates policies and procedures for employee health and infection control to meet regulatory agencies guidelines.
