About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at 60th Medical Group, Hematology and Oncology, within David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, CA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Provide specialized nursing care for patients with cancer and blood disorders across all stages of treatment.
- →Administer and monitor complex therapies including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, targeted agents, and supportive medications.
- →Evaluate, plan, and coordinate patient care before, during, and after chemotherapy; collaborating with physicians and research teams.
- →Participate in continuing education, staff training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- →Provide guidance on monitoring, toxicity management, and safe practices to nursing staff.
