This position is located at Fort Riley, KS. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child:25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as a nurse consultant responsible for all health support services.
- →Applies professional knowledge and skill to support the health and well-being of children and youth.
- →Assists in training of staff, providers, volunteers, and/or parents.
- →Coordinates and provides specialized training to staff who support children or youth with complex health needs.
- →Serves as a consultant for the Multi-Disciplinary Team to determine compliance with health-related CDC standards.
- →Works closely with program directors in the implementation of health and fitness programs.
- →Serves as the primary liaison between CYS Services and the installation Community Health Nurse.
- →Communicates with trainers, Special Needs Director, Environmental Health, schools, and physicians to clarify roles in health support/services.
