About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center with the Director for Surgery, Department of Preoperative Nursing. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Obtain patient history and collect health information.
- →Interpret data, identifies wellness and risk factors, and formulate patient care plans.
- →Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment.
- →Maintain patient awareness and take appropriate action as needed.
- →Interpret and report significant changes in patient's condition to the licensed independent providers (LIP).
- →Evaluate the effectiveness of patient treatment and revise care plans in consultation with the LIP.
- →Manage non-urgent patient problems and recommend self-care based on approved protocols.
- →Perform comprehensive assessments of patient and family learning needs.
