About the Position: This position is located in the Internal Medicine Clinic at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Work hours are Monday - Friday from 0730-1630 not including federal holidays. A Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation using DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit/appoint qualified candidates in the competitive service. - YOU MUST UPLOAD ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS SUCH AS LICENSE, CERTIFICATES, AND TRANSCRIPTS.
What You'll Do
- →Provides comprehensive nursing care to clinic patients utilizing evidence-based approach and application of clinical practice guidelines.
- →The incumbent independently performs direct nursing care to clinic patients via telemedicine, virtual, and face-to-face care to include triage, procedures, nurse-managed protocols, and medication management.
- →Incumbent assists clinician with physical examinations, treatments, diagnostic procedures, and coordination of health care needs of patients.
- →Proactively collaborates and integrates with members of the clinic team and other departments and directorates to achieve optimal care and health outcomes for the patients in the Patient-Centered Medical Home.
- →Identifies clinical, administrative, and staffing complications and independently utilizes problem solving techniques to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
