About the Role
About the Position: This position is located in the Nursing Department at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl, Germany. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide full-spectrum nursing care to patients from newborns to geriatrics on a multi-service ward.
- →Administer oxygen, IV fluids, blood transfusions and prescribed oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications.
- →Set up, operate, and monitor medical equipment such as oxygen masks, intravenous infusion pumps, wall suction, cardiovascular monitors and other devices.
- →Recognize significant and life-threatening changes in patient condition and determine and implement the appropriate emergency life saving measures.
- →Provide specialized information and education related to patient's illness and disease process.
- →Communicate with providers, other staff members, and inpatient units to maintain continuity of care.
