About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting for urgent or emergent care.
- →Respond to all emergencies during the shift.
- →Mentor professional and paraprofessional staff.
- →Take medical histories to acquire medically necessary information to assess physical and mental status of patient.
- →Function as a charge nurse on a rotational basis.
- →Participate in continuing education programs to update and/or maintain skills and knowledge to meet annual requirements.
