About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at BETHESDA / MONTGOMERY / MARYLAND and will start out as a Night Shift position. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Teach, onboard, and mentor professional and paraprofessional nursing staff, assisting with complex nursing and diagnostic procedures.
- →Interview and take medical histories, to acquire medically necessary information to assess physical and mental status of patient.
- →Collect current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history, and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- →Initiates patient education plan.
- →Conduct and participate in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of facility, departmental, or unit-based programs.
- →Provide evidence-based instructions and education to patient/significant other and/or family members/caregivers.
