About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Hood, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Provide Emergency Department (ED) clinical nursing care to patients of any age group.
- →Perform triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements.
- →Must quickly assess incoming patients and prioritize patient care based on need, available staffing, and patient acuity.
- →Manage the delivery of nursing care, utilizing knowledge of an extensive range of professional nursing theories, principles, and procedures.
- →Conduct and participate in the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of facility, departmental, or unit-based programs.
- →Interviews and takes medical histories, to acquire medically necessary information to assess physical and mental status of patient Responds to all emergencies during the shift.
