About the Position: This position is located at Keesler Medical Group at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging.
- →Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.
- →Provide patient education as an integral part of the services offered.
- →Communicate with providers regarding determinations and situations, document events appropriately.
- →Screen patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.
- →Make psychosocial assessment of patients to identify significant cultural practices, the ability to understand and cooperate, and expectations of care and coping mechanisms.
- →Ensure the completion of orders from health care providers.
- →Facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.
