About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Nurse (Clinical/Ambulatory) at U.S. Army Health Clinic SHAPE for Family Medicine, performing a wide range of independent nursing services from assessment and triage to counseling, teaching, and providing various treatment regimens. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.
- →Establish priorities for patient care and evaluate patients’ progress toward high-level wellness.
- →Act as relief nurse, triage and screen walk-in patients to assess the severity of the patient's condition and the need for provider intervention.
- →Screen patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.
- →Assist clinic with patient and staff education.
- →Coordinate patient referrals to support services provided through the internal and external community, or the TRICARE network.
