About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Perform duties of Head Nurse, plan, coordinate, and collaborate with other health care team members, regarding the activities required to meet the patient's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
- →Implement nursing care based on desired patient outcomes, customer satisfaction and evidence-based practice.
- →Screen patient charts and perform initial patient assessment prior to admission.
- →Educate patients about when to seek medical/nursing intervention.
- →Accept consults for the education of patients in the outpatient setting.
- →Perform the following supervisory responsibilities over a subordinate staff which may consist of vocational nurses and/or nursing assistants.
