About the Role
About the Position: Position is for an Oncology Nurse primarily operating with at the EAMC Outpatient Oncology Infusion Room. Working full-time Monday - Friday excluding Federal Holidays. Adult patient population. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the safe administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and miscellaneous infusions to patients assigned.
- →Monitor patients for any side effects and will manage any complications in conjunction to licensed provider.
- →Responsible for answering patient messages, review and perform basic interpretation of pertinent lab results, and will help coordinate care for patients assigned.
- →Will be expected to access and perform basic mediport maintenance.
- →Will assist with patient check-in process (screening, vital signs) for infusion and scheduled outpatient clinic patients.
- →Will maintain valid ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Course Certificate, BLS, and will participate in CME/CE as required for continued licensure and/or DDEAMC policies.
