About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Madigan Army Medical Center, Soldier Centered Medical Home (SCMH) location Tacoma, Washington. The incumbent will perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging; uses critical decision-making skills to quickly and accurately prioritize difficult needs and potential solutions. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Clinical Ambulatory Nurse.
- →Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging and facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.
- →Screen walk-in patients to assess the severity of the patient's condition and the need for provider intervention.
- →Recognize and report abnormal test results, changes in symptoms and the need for follow-up.
- →Review patient chart to assess medical history and determine health needs.
- →Reinforce health care provider instructions and encourage patient in the maintenance of health and self-care Assess patients emotional, cognitive, social and motivational status relative to education and determine their educational needs and priorities.
- →Ensure staff compliance with maintenance of competency folders in accordance with hospital and Joint Commission standards
