About the Position: This position is located with the 460th Medical Group Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Student Loan repayment may be authorized
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Nurse (Ambulatory Care), responsible for comprehensive professional clinical and preventive nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic Assess and manage acute and episodic healthcare concerns, health maintenance and promotion, disease prevention and management Conduct a comprehensive medication list review.
- →Relay results to patients and arranges for appropriate follow-up care and treatment as directed by the provider.
- →Assists providers with procedures and treatments.
- →Coordinate and/or provides emergency care, including initiation of life-sustaining measures, such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), choking first aid, bleeding control, treatment of injuries, etc.
