About the Role
About the Position: This position resides within the Directorate of Medical Services, Pediatric Department, located at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Perform independent, comprehensive telephone and clinical triaging, and facilitate care coordination through a multidisciplinary approach.
- →Provide patient education as an integral part of the services offered.
- →Screen patient charts to assess the medical history and determine health care needs.
- →Recognize and report abnormal test results, changes in symptoms and the need for follow-up.
- →Prepare and administer oral, subcutaneous, intra-muscular and intravenous medications.
- →Reinforce health care provider instruction and encourage patient in the maintenance of health and self-care.
