About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in the Department of Radiology in Bethesda, MD. Duty Hours: 0700-1600 EST; incumbent may be required to work on call during irregular work hours which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or varying work schedules. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide expertise in performing complex imaging procedures utilizing modern methodologies, accurately acquiring and processing data to optimize the studies for physician interpretation.
- →Takes the initiative to improve technical skills and theoretical knowledge and remains current with new technologies and requirements.
- →The incumbent provides information and education regarding new diagnostic and treatment procedures to health care providers and patients/families.
- →Incumbent handles all emergency situations to include radioactive spills and emergency add-on studies.
- →Ensure that all equipment is functioning optimally.
