You will serve as a NUCLEAR CONTINUING & TRAINING DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR in the Production Resources Department (900), Electrical/Electronics Shop (C950), Production Resources Department Manager (C901) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will participate in developing, initiating, scheduling, and implementing programs for the development of personnel through Continuing Training and Development Program.
- →You will coordinate the keeping of shop/code training plans current, and check them for adequacy.
- →You will spot audit shops trade theory/core tasks records and qualification records for conformance with guidelines.
- →You will coordinate the procurement, storage, and use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio visual aids, and training devices, and laboratory equipment.
- →You will identify material costs expended by each fiscal year for overhead expenditures/labor expenditures on a monthly basis.
- →You will maintain a comprehensive electronic file of Mechanic Training Folders to include training taken, attribute sheets, date started, date completed, proficiency rating for the course.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
