This position is within the Maintenance and Operations Section; Engineering Service at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, a tertiary care, university affiliated, active research, medical facility. The primary responsibility would be operating a valet shuttle, a gasoline or electric powered vehicle with a seating capacity of six (6) to fourteen (14) passengers.
What You'll Do
- →Major duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds Assist patients and employees on and off shuttle buses, vans and carts Keep shuttle carts clean, fueled and ready for use Maintain a valid driver's license Work Schedule: 9:30AM to 6:00PM, Monday thru Friday, subject to change based on the needs of the facility.
