The primary purpose of this position is to function as primary dispatcher and lead the motor vehicle operators in the performance of their duties. The incumbent exercises the day-to-day leadership of the shop's activities and provides guidance and direction to workers, assuring that assignments are properly carried out, in a timely, safe and professional manner.
What You'll Do
- →Plans daily, weekly and monthly work schedules sequences of operation and maintenance for subordinates.
- →Establishes deadlines and priorities on the basis of general work schedules, methods and polices.
- →Determines the number and types of employees required to do the required task, and the availability of the personnel, materials and equipment required.
- →Transports ambulatory patients, employees, medical records, mail and lab specimens.
- →Maintains, prepares and submits schedules, production reports, records and summaries as required in various databases.
- →Inspects motor vehicles for physical damage, condition of windshield wipers, tires, batteries, fluid levels, lights, belts, horn, brakes, accident reporting kits, fire extinguishers and tools on a regular basis and takes corrective action on deficient items.
- →Accountable to the Transportation Foreman for quality and quantity of work performed by shop members.

Requirements
