About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Mortuary Affairs Coordinator carrying out all phases of mortuary services and assistance for the Casualty Assistance Center (CAC).
What You'll Do
- →Present briefs to senior leads, military teams, and families.
- →Inspects deceased service member remains.
- →Serves as purchase card holder and is responsible for ensuring the government purchase card statement are reconciled and annotated monthly in accordance with regulations.
- →Serves as a member of a disaster response team in the search, recovery, evacuation, and identification of remains at an accident site.
- →Responds to oral and written inquiries from family members, congressional personnel as well as government and non-government agencies pertaining to the care and disposition of remains.
- →Orders, receives, and maintains accountability of interment flags, flag cases, forms, and mass casualty supplies.
