This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Camp Stanley Storage Activity. This position serves as a Mobile Equipment Operator operating a wide variety of equipment and power and hand tools.
What You'll Do
- →Operate four-wheel farm equipment with assorted attachments to perform general grounds maintenance.
- →Shape, prune, top, or remove trees and shrubs.
- →Trim trees to prevent powerline encroachment from a 10-ton aerial platform truck.
- →Inspect material handling equipment and attachments and perform preventive maintenance.
- →Maneuver construction equipment within close tolerances when maintaining grounds.
- →Connect, tow, adjust, and position mobile equipment in confined areas and under difficult conditions.
