This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Mobile Equipment Operator Supervisor providing and maintaining training facilities for Range Operations.
What You'll Do
- →Plans and supervises the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project-by-project, and long-term basis.
- →Evaluates progress of work to ensure quality and quantity meet standards.
- →Ensures operational maintenance of range roads, grounds, facilities, targets, and related training support services for field range training conducted by military personnel and others.
- →Conducts and supervises the repair of different types of heavy and light equipment.
- →Conducts and supervises the repair of existing parts or making replacement parts for the machinery and equipment on ranges (e.g., targets).
- →Inspects operation of machinery and equipment to ensure they are properly maintained and productively operated.
- →Supervises and directs the oversight of employees assigned to a work team.
- →Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, planning work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by superiors.
