The primary purpose of this position is to primary purpose of this position is to repair and/or replace automotive body panels and fenders, refinish vehicle bodies, perform welding work in the repair, modification, and assembly of various types of metal and alloy parts for vehicles using gas and electric methods, repair and replace radiators, cuts and fits vehicle glass.
What You'll Do
- →- Plans and lays out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders in the repair of damaged automotive body parts. - Develops patterns, cuts, forms, joins, assembles, and installs items and systems which have combined straight and curved edges or irregular curves, angles, and planes.
- →Straightens and repairs damaged automotive body parts.
- →Operates and maintains industrial-type sewing machine.
